Commercial Policies  

At DenPlus, our goal is to satisfy your needs with quality products. Our challenge is to build a long-term relationship with you, our customer based on trust and more importantly, your satisfaction. Therefore, your input is crucial to us and we welcome any comment that will help us improve our services.

Thank you for visiting DenPlus and for reading this policy. Please read it carefully and check it regularly for any changes.

As soon as you click on a link and leave DenPlus’s virtual space, a message informs you that the information exchanged thereafter is not subject to the privacy policies of DenPlus sites, but to those of the private site. By way of precaution, we therefore urge you to read the privacy policy of the site in question.

Use of cookies

DenPlus does not set persistent cookies on users’ hard drives. This cookie is automatically deleted when users leave DenPlus.

You can disable acceptance of cookie files at any time using your browser’s options. However, this could prevent you from accessing certain online services or advanced functional capability.

Information exchanged automatically

As soon as you access DenPlus site, information is automatically exchanged between your computer and DenPlus server. However, the information does not identify you personally (e.g. name, phone, address, subject) without action of some kind on your part. The following information is exchanged:

  • Domain name (e.g. xcompagnie.com, if you use a private Web access account; universite.edu, if you obtain access through a university; etc.)
  • IP address (e.g. 123.45.67.890) which could enable a Web provider to disclose the identity of the person to which it is assigned
  • The kind of browser (e.g.Netscape, Explorer) and the operating system (e.g.Windows, Mac OS) you use The pages you visit
  • The date and time when you access these pages
  • The address of the referring site used to reach DenPlus


DenPlus collects this information due to the technological requirements for Web use. The server needs this information to be able to send you files compatible with the computer equipment you are using. Rest assured that none of these requirements enable personal identification.

The information is kept and used by the government for statistical purposes (number of visits, the most popular pages, user technology, referring sites and users’ country of origin). It is never used to compile user lists.

Our security protocol

DenPlus uses the latest technology and equipment for ensuring the security of its transactional pages and maintaining the confidentiality of the information exchanged.

The security protocol used, SSL (Secure Socket Layers), makes it possible to transpose the information entered into encrypted information (128-bits) and to check the identity of the parties (the user and the portal) who communicate with each other online.

Generally, secure pages are identified by a symbol [padlock] at the bottom of the screen. This symbol means that transmission of the information provided by the user is encrypted.

User responsabilities

For optimal security, we recommend that you:

  • Use the latest version of a browser that complies with security requirements (SSL protocol with 128-bit encryption)
  • Delete your cache memory after sending your data
  • Keep your ID information, access code and password confidential. (DenPlus cannot be held liable for their unauthorized use. Should their confidentiality be compromised, please notify us immediately to prevent fraudulent use of your identity.)

You may obtain a new account form from your representative or by contacting our office. This form is also available on our web site under the section “Commercial Policies”. Subject to a satisfactory credit check, an account will be opened with a credit limit. This limit may be reviewed according to your purchase history and promptness of payment.

Customers not wishing to open an account can pay their purchases by credit card.

Payment Authorization

All orders received by DenPlus are subject to final acceptance or confirmation by DenPlus.

DenPlus reserves the right to retain any order if an amount has been due for more than 60 days for previous purchases. The goods may be delivered once the payment has been received.
 
DenPlus does not accept orders with payment on delivery (COD).

All our prices are in Canadian dollars and can change without notice due to exchange rate fluctuations, cost increases from manufacturers or other  circumstances.
 
When applicable, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged everywhere in Canada. There is no provincial tax sale for shipment outside Quebec, except in the provinces where the Harmonized Sale Tax (HST) applies

For the customers having proceeded to an opening of account and whose terms of credit were accepted by DenPlus, payments are due in the 30 days following the date from the invoice. A statement of account will be sent to you at the end of each month.

If an account opening is not completed, payment must be made by credit card at time of invoicing when the goods are ready to be shipped.  Once payment is done, the goods are immediately shipped.

DenPlus accepts checks and Visa or MasterCard credit cards. You also can, on written request, ask for an automatic payment on your credit card. You may obtain a form for an automatic payment from your representative or by calling at our office. The form is also available on our Internet site (www.denplus.com) under the section “Commercial Policies.

Interest charges of 1.2% per month (14.4% per year) will be applied on any balance exceeding 45 days starting from the date of invoice.

Expenses of 50$ will be applied for an N.S.F. check.

Shipping and Handling

Regular shipments will be done by ICS or Courrier dentaire (QC). Other transporters may be used for certain regions or for heavy or bulky products. The choice of the transporter remains the prerogative of DenPlus based on transportation costs or destination. A customer’s request to use a particular transporter result in additional charges if that carrier proves to be more costly.

Orders received before 3:00 PM (Eastern Time) will be delivered within 24 hours in Quebec and Ontario and, normally, within 5 business days in the other areas of Canada, by ground service.

Teeth orders without any other dental products will be shipped everywhere in Canada by air (Next Day service), when possible.

DenPlus is not responsible for delays in delivery due to causes beyond its control.

Delivery charges :

For customers eligible for preferred status, orders will be shipped free of charge except in cases of heavy or bulky merchandise (see exceptions below). Contact customer service to find out your status and eligibility criteria for free delivery.

With the exceptions listed below, the normal delivery policy is as follows:

  • No delivery charge if the order excluding heavy items exceeds $99 for Quebec and Ontario and $139 for other provinces or territories.
  • For orders of teeth only, a minimum amount of $50 is required to obtain free delivery.


These amounts are subject to change without notice.

For orders with shipping charges, these will vary according to weight, dimensions and delivery region.

Exceptions:


In the following cases, additional fees will be charged: heavy merchandise or high volumetric weight or heavy equipment requiring a pallet or special delivery or remote regions. This list is not exhaustive.  Wherever possible, these items will be identified on the website.

For special order equipments and for items which are not held in inventory on a current basis, the delivery delay usually varies between 6 and 8 weeks. Being tributary of the manufacturer, DenPlus is not responsible for a delay on the expected delivery period.
 
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required when an order is placed for a special order equipment. The balance of the payment is due when the equipment is delivered to you.  A leasing, offered by a commercial financing company, can also be available.  
 
The orders of specialized equipment and items not usually in stock cannot be cancelled or returned and are not refundable.

While we make every effort not to be out of stock, we may on rare occasions, run out of some items. If we are out of stock on an item that you have ordered, we will notify you the day of your order.

No delivery charge on out-of-stock items. (Does not apply to equipment or special orders).

Items that have been out of stock for less than a month are automatically sent to the customer. For orders more than 1 month overdue, the customer will be called to confirm shipment. Orders overdue by 6 months will be cancelled and the customer notified.
 
DenPlus website allows you to see immediately if the item is available in stock at the time of ordering. Often, an equivalent product can be ordered to avoid delivery delays.

DenPlus offers a color customization service for the acrylic resins. The minimum quantity for a custom color is 25 pounds (11,3 kg). The original cost for the development of the color is 400 $. Thereafter, a production cost of 150 $ will be required for each order.

1) Delivery error or damaged goods

DenPlus makes all the efforts necessary to make sure that the ordered items correspond well to your requests.  Whenever you do not receive the good item or if the goods have been damaged during shipping, call customer service within a maximum of 5 days starting from the date of reception of the goods. A complaint reported after a 5 days deadline will be subject to restocking charges of 20%. No complaint will be accepted after a 30 day period. 

A request for return of merchandise (RMA) will be initiated and we will send you an authorization number with a waybill coupon with a carrier chosen by DenPlus.  

All products must be returned in their original container or package, in a clean and salable condition.  A copy of the original invoice must be included with the return.  Be sure that the goods are carefully packed in order to avoid damage during shipping.

At the reception of the goods, a credit will be applied on your account and a statement of credit will be sent by mail.

2) DenPlus products

All our products are of first quality and they are guaranteed against any defect. If, after the initial use, you are not completely satisfied, do not hesitate to contact us so that we can immediately take corrective measures. If for some reason, you are not satisfied, an exchange or a full repayment will be granted to you if you return the product in his original packing in the 30 days following the purchase. Beyond 30 days, no refunding will be granted. Please call our customer service for detailed instructions.

3) Artificial teeth

  • Return of full sets of teeth is accepted for all teeth distributed by DenPlus.
  • Return of broken sets of teeth is accepted for the following lines: Image, Enigma, Vitapan, Physiodens, Lingoform.
  • At the date of the return, the total value of returned sets cannot exceed 30% of the purchases of the same line of teeth in the last 3 months.
  • Tooth returns may be subject to shipping and handing fees.
  • All returns must be sent prepaid. Otherwise, freight charges will be applied to the credit.
  • Returned sets must have been bought at the latest a year before the date of the return.


The balance of your account must be lower than 30 days, including financial expenses, to be eligible for the credit. No credit will be granted for 1) loosed teeth off of cards because of an incorrect packaging, 2) ground, broken or damaged teeth, 3) teeth not in the proper position, 4) teeth with wax or permanent marks, 5) dirty or dusty teeth.  The sets must be returned in tooth boxes.

4) Defective distribution products

If you wish to return a defective item, please communicate with our customer service to initiate a request for return of goods according to the procedure described previously if the request is justified.  

DenPlus honours all the guarantees of the manufacturers. If a problem occurs during the first 30 days starting from the date of invoicing, DenPlus assumes the shipping costs.

A copy of the original invoice must be included withthe return. Be sure that the goods are carefully packed in order to avoid damage during shipping.

If the problem occurs after 30 days, the guarantee of the manufacturer applies. Item will be repaired or replaced according to manufacturer’s choice.  The delivery charges for the return are the responsibility of the customer.

5) Other return for distribution products

A return request for a product without any defect is prone to restocking fees. These fees are variable with respect to the date of the request compared to the date of invoicing.

  • Between 0 and 60 days after the invoice : fees of 20%
  • Between 61 and 120 days after the date of invoice: fees of 35%
  • Between 121 and 180 days after the date of invoice: fees of 50%
  • No request exceeding 180days are accepted by DenPlus.


In all cases, the return charges are the responsibility of the customer. 

A request for return of goods can be initiated by calling ourcustomer service. We will send you an authorization number with a waybill coupon of a carrier chosen by DenPlus.  

All products must be returned in their original container or package, in a clean and salable condition.  A copy of the original invoice must be included with the return.  Be sure that the goods are carefully packed in order to avoid damage during shipping.

After the reception and inspection of goods, a credit will be emitted. The balance of your account must be lower than 30 days, including the financial charges, to be eligible with the credit.

Failure to comply with one or all of these return policies may result in credit being denied
